Terms of Service

These terms cover the KyPanel software, the licences sold for it, the client area at my.kypanel.com and our support. By installing KyPanel or buying a licence you agree to them. "We" means KyPanel; "you" means the person or company that installs the software or holds the account.

1. The licence

A licence lets you run one installation of KyPanel on one server, identified by its main public IPv4 address, for as long as the licence is paid. There is no limit on the number of hosting accounts, domains or resellers on that server. Mail and database nodes linked to a licensed server do not need a licence of their own.

You may use KyPanel to provide hosting services to your own customers. You may not resell, sublicense, copy or redistribute the software itself, remove its licence checks, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows it.

2. Trial

Every server gets a 30-day free trial that starts when the panel first runs. One trial per server address. After the trial, the panel switches to read-only until a licence is active; websites, email and DNS keep working.

3. Prices, billing and renewal

Prices are listed on kypanel.com in US dollars, excluding taxes where they apply. Licences are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

If a renewal payment fails, the licence stays active until the end of the paid period plus a short grace period. After that the panel switches to read-only until payment is made.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the client area. The licence stays active until the end of the period already paid. Refunds follow our refund policy.

5. Licence checks and updates

The panel contacts our licence server about twice a day to confirm its licence, and our update server to download new versions. What it sends is described in the privacy policy. Updates are included in every active licence.

6. Support

Support is provided through tickets in the client area, in English, for servers with an active licence or trial. We help with the KyPanel software itself; we don't manage your servers or your customers' websites.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your servers, your data and your backups, for the content and conduct of the accounts you host, and for complying with the laws that apply to your hosting business. Keep your server and panel credentials secure.

8. Warranty and liability

KyPanel is provided "as is". We work to keep it secure and reliable but do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, revenue or profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected licence in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Suspension

We may suspend a licence that is unpaid, obtained through fraud, or used in breach of these terms. Where possible we will tell you first through the client area or by email.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the client area at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use KyPanel after that means you accept the new terms.
